Vice-Chair
Accountability: The Chair and the community
Nature and Scope: The role of the Vice-Chair will be to lead and aid the community and the committee in advancing Compassionate Communities in Thunder Bay. This primarily includes working along side the Chair to aid them in their duties and actively recruiting new community members to the movement.
As with all members of this movement they must actively facilitate the direction and growth of the movement.
Approximate hour commitment: 3-4 hours per month, including monthly meeting.
This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
Beneficial Experience
Experience or familiarity with government or organizational structure.
Experience with volunteer/community recruitment.
Current Responsibilities
Actively recruiting community members for Compassionate Thunder Bay.
Takes over the role of the Chair after their term ends.
Future Responsibilities
Working alongside and aiding the Chair in their duties; including helping plan meeting locations, preparing for and leading community meeting.
